nortons is a multi-disciplinary professional services company, focused on the needs of growing businesses.
Our History
nortons began life as The Norton Practice in 1993, when it was launched with the intention of offering Big 4 service levels and expertise to those companies who could not afford these services. This vision soon found an enthusiastic following.
Based in the heart of the Thames Valley, close to Heathrow and London, and surrounded by the UK's 'Silicon Valley', nortons focused firmly on the needs of growing companies with entrepreneurial spirits across a broad range of sectors, but gradually developing an ever-increasing focus on the vibrant Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector that all but dominates the region.
Over the years, nortons' relationships with a number of US headquartered technology companies have grown and we have developed an affinity with those who needed practical, pragmatic and cost effective business solutions when setting up in the UK.
The need to service the growth requirements of these companies led, in 1999, to the establishment and development of nortons international, which today has expanded out of its strong European base and includes member firms in China, Japan, Australia, India and the Middle East.
In 2005, building on its commitment to growth and value, nortons added Corporate Finance to its portfolio so that it could provide professional fund raising and Mergers and Acquisitions advice to its growing list of clients.
Since then, our business has continued to expand; we have recently added growth consulting to the mix, and our strong roster of 'partners' able to provide the specialist services beyond those within our own remit is constantly increasing.

Within the UK, we work with over 500 clients from a broad range of sectors and business types and sizes. Many clients have headquarters in the US or Asia Pacific; others are fast growing UK- based technology and service companies, or are from specialist services and manufacturing sectors. We also have many clients in the Pensions industry, where, in addition to our normal services, we offer cost-effective audits.
Internationally, our 'network', nortons international, works with many more clients in over 25 different countries.
How we charge
When we work with you, there will be no surprises when it comes to the billing. We tailor our services to your specific needs, capabilities and budgets, agreeing all charges before undertaking the work.
Charges are then based on either the time taken to do the tasks involved or on a fixed price project basis.
