Andrew Norton FCA: Managing Partner
Andrew Norton FCA
Following qualification in 1983, Andrew moved to Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young before founding nortons in 1993. Andrew has worked extensively advising fast growing UK companies in all industry sectors, but particularly with technology companies.
In 2004 Andrew was appointed as the Financial Director of CompleteTV, a technical company dealing in IPTV. He has assisted the company through 4 rounds of funding and overseas expansion. This experience has meant that Andrew is able to give practical commercial advice to help clients maximise their business potential.
Andrew leads an impressive, highly skilled and dedicated team at nortons.
Pete Doyle BSc ACA: Partner – International
Pete Doyle BSc ACA
Pete spent 6 years with Ernst & Young in their Thames Valley Audit Practice where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He co-founded nortons in 1993 and is now responsible for services to international clients and for nortons’ associate offices across Europe and Asia.
Pete has helped over 200 US and International companies become established in the UK and Europe including advice on tax and commercial structure, employment issues, and getting the company ready for business.
With the recent expansion of nortons into Asia, Pete has been instrumental in helping US companies expand into India, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Australia.
He has dealt extensively with US public companies as well as a large number of venture backed technology start ups.

 

Christopher Owens FCA: Partner Taxation
Chris Owens
Christopher leads nortons’ tax practice. He has extensive experience having specialised in tax from 1980, dealing predominantly with owner managed and international businesses. During his 11 years with Ernst & Young, Christopher gained considerable international experience, working on the office's largest owner managed businesses with international subsidiaries. Following this he spent 10 years at a top 10 firm of accountants, advising shareholders on exit planning, handling the tax on company sales and purchases. During this time Christopher also continued to look after the taxation affairs of international companies. At nortons he continues to advise international and owner managed businesses.
Tony Campbell BA (Hons) ACA: Partner - Audit
Tony Campbell
Tony qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and joined nortons in February 2008 as an Audit Partner. Previously Tony worked for Grant Thornton and Horwath Clark Whitehill.  Tony leads nortons’ audit department and has extensive experience of providing audit, transactional and advisory services to listed companies and owner managed and international businesses. Tony also acts for more than 90 pension schemes ranging from those in wind up to Large Defined Benefit and Hybrid Schemes.
 
Carmen Oliver FCIPD: VP - Human Resources
Carmen Oliver FCIPD
Carmen joined nortons in 2000 from Winterthur International owned by Credit Suisse.  She was one of a small group of European HR Managers responsible for 23 countries and was based between London and Zurich. Carmen has 20 years Human Resources experience within the Retail, Telecoms and Financial Services sectors. She has overall responsibility for nortons’ Human Resources and Payroll services, working primarily with international businesses setting up in the UK and Europe.
 
Ian Bussey: Director in Corporate Finance
Ian Bussey: Director – Corporate Finance
Ian is a lawyer with over 10 years of comprehensive experience at board level within the Technology and Healthcare sectors as General Manager, Business Development Director and General Legal Counsel. Ian is experienced in delivering inorganic growth through acquisition and consolidation.
He implemented and executed Mistral’ Internet's inorganic growth strategy, successfully integrating 9 companies into the core Mistral business. Ian also delivered US healthcare company Coopervision's European buy and build strategy across Europe by the acquisition of manufacturing, distribution and sales businesses in seven European countries.
