Nortons Perfect Pitch Program
On a quarterly basis, nortons selects three companies to participate in The nortons’ Perfect Pitch Program (PPP).
The nortons PPP is offered to promising technology companies looking to raise funds of between £250k and £2m. The program provides these companies with the opportunity to present the case for investment in their company to a group of industry and investment experts, high net worth individuals, investment clubs and investment funds. At the nortons PPP event, each company will receive critical feedback on their 15 minute pitch and the investment case. Participants’ involvement in the nortons PPP assists them in raising funds either through equity, debt or a combination of both and / or valuable commercial contacts and relationships to further develop their business.
Our Corporate Finance Team works closely with each selected company to ensure they “perfect” their “pitch”, thereby maximising their chances of successfully attracting interest to raise funds. This involves:
Obtaining a good understanding of their business operations, financial condition and prospects;
Consulting with them to obtain an understanding of the key commercial, strategic and financial strengths and weaknesses of their business;
Help them to form a reasoned view on a possible achievable valuation range;
Discuss and agree with them an appropriate pitch and presentation for the nortons PPP;
Review the business plan and any materials to be made available at the PPP;
Support and coach them in order to maximise the benefits of being involved in the PPP;
Assist them in their negotiations and dealings with potential investors and their advisers including helping to reach a definitive investment agreement.
In making these services available, we have developed a standardised program that is efficient and highly cost effective. We charge £2,500 for entry into the program plus a percentage of any funds raised. The £2,500 would be credited against future fees if the company becomes a nortons client.
